About the role

Klaviyo is seeking an AI Solutions Architect to accelerate how our Global Services organization leverages AI to operate smarter and deliver more impact. This role sits at the intersection of applied AI, solutions architecture, and internal enablement. We are looking for a strong technical problem solver who can quickly turn business challenges into practical AI solutions while collaborating across technical and non-technical teams. You will build AI-powered solutions that solve both creative and operational challenges. Your work will span accelerating content creation, enabling smarter learning experiences, connecting internal data sources, and automating workflows that improve efficiency and decision-making. You will also help teams use tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Glean more effectively by building skills, prompts, and AI workflows that are reliable, reusable, and aligned to real business needs.

What you'll do

Partner with Services leaders to identify high impact areas that could benefit from AI or automation.

Prioritize opportunities based on efficiency gains and impact to focus efforts where they matter most.

Translate ambiguous ideas into clear program roadmaps with defined outcomes and milestones for AI initiatives.

Build AI-powered prototypes and workflows using Claude, LLMs, and modern AI development platforms to rapidly validate business solutions.

Design and connect AI systems using APIs, MCPs, automation platforms, and internal data sources to create intelligent, end-to-end workflows.

Understand how to integrate AI solutions with existing systems, collaborating with engineering teams when production-grade implementations are needed.

Develop effective prompts, skills, agents, and retrieval workflows that improve the quality, reliability, and usefulness of AI-generated outputs.

Evaluate and iterate on AI solutions using user feedback, business outcomes, and emerging best practices to drive adoption and impact.

Create clear documentation, implementation guides, and best practices that enable teams to effectively build and adopt AI solutions.

Lead enablement sessions, workshops, and office hours to grow AI fluency and help teams build effective prompts, skills, agents, and workflows.

Stay current on emerging AI capabilities, tools, and best practices to ensure solutions leverage the latest advancements responsibly.

Facilitate the evolution of workflows and prototypes into production-grade systems, working closely with Klaviyo's centralized AI engineering team.

Leverage support from Klaviyo's centralized AI engineering team to scale larger, cross-functional initiatives across the business.

Help identify high-impact opportunities and accelerate experimentation to foster a culture of innovation within Services.

Requirements

A strong technical foundation and a passion for solving business problems with AI drive your approach to solutions architecture.

You are experienced building AI-powered prototypes using LLMs and modern AI tools, with an understanding of APIs and system integrations that enable connected workflows.

You possess strong communication skills that allow you to translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for both technical and non- technical audiences.

You demonstrate the ability to create clear documentation, implementation guides, and best practices that support the adoption of AI solutions.

You show experience facilitating workshops and enablement sessions that grow AI fluency across cross-functional teams.

You have a proven capacity to evaluate AI solutions using user feedback and business outcomes to iterate toward meaningful adoption.

You stay current on emerging AI capabilities, tools, and best practices, applying this awareness to responsible solution design.

You are comfortable collaborating with engineering teams to transition prototypes into production-grade systems when needed.

Practical notes

This role is part of a broader effort to empower creators to own their own destiny at Klaviyo. You will work within the Strategy & Operations team and serve as connective tissue across the broader Services organization. The position involves close collaboration with centralized AI engineering to ensure solutions scale effectively. You will contribute to faster experimentation and help identify opportunities that deliver measurable efficiency gains. Success in this role requires adaptability, ownership, and a commitment to building reusable AI capabilities across the business.
