About the role
We are seeking an Account Executive to join our remote sales team based in Austin. In this position, you will concentrate on promoting our advanced SaaS offerings, cultivating client relationships, and shaping our market strategy in a new geographical area. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will work closely with various departments, including Legal Solutions, Marketing, and Sales Enablement, to drive success.

What you'll do
- Develop and oversee your own sales pipeline by actively pursuing outbound opportunities and managing inbound leads.
- Identify and assess new business prospects specifically within the legal and commercial real estate sectors.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to create targeted account-based marketing initiatives aimed at law firms and in-house legal departments.
- Implement a structured sales process that spans from the initial outreach to the finalization of deals.
- Conduct discovery conversations to uncover client requirements, quantify their impact, and construct persuasive business cases.
- Provide tailored product demonstrations that align with the workflows of legal professionals in real estate.
- Navigate complex sales situations that involve multiple stakeholders, including attorneys, IT personnel, and senior management.
- Ensure accurate tracking of deal progression and pipeline status in HubSpot, utilizing a defined qualification framework.
- Assist with pre-sales efforts and technical assessments in collaboration with Legal Solutions Architects.
- Work alongside the Sales Manager to review pipelines, forecast sales, and strategize on deal approaches.
- Offer insights to the Product and Marketing teams regarding customer needs, objections encountered, and the competitive landscape.
- Play a key role in shaping the go-to-market strategy as one of the foundational members of the Austin team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, demonstrating a consistent ability to meet or surpass sales targets.
- Proven track record in managing intricate sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders.
- Strong skills in discovery and qualification to diagnose client challenges, construct business cases, and progress deals.
- Ability to proactively generate your own sales pipeline, rather than relying solely on incoming leads.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across a variety of formats.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where processes are still being developed.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Austin.
- Demonstrated capability to learn and effectively communicate complex or technical information relevant to the legal and real estate sectors.
Nice to have
- Previous sales experience in the legal, real estate, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with AI technologies or similar tech products.
- Experience with sales qualification frameworks such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
- Background in a Series A-C SaaS company.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in HubSpot for CRM and pipeline management.
- Knowledge of MEDDPICC or similar sales qualification frameworks.
