What you'll do
- Conduct deep technical environment assessments for clients ranging from Pre-IPO startups to FTSE 100 corporations, articulating how Optro's platform resolves specific control and risk challenges.
- Lead strategic dialogues with C-level executives, presenting Optro's value proposition to unlock new business development opportunities and drive enterprise-wide adoption.
- Contribute actively to high-level executive meetings, helping to define and refine sales growth strategies, marketing objectives, and sales headcount planning.
- Design and deliver persuasive, audience-specific product demonstrations of the Optro suite, effectively utilizing both virtual and in-person engagement formats.
- Mentor internal team members through cross-training initiatives, elevating the collective expertise in product knowledge and client engagement techniques.
- Offer proactive, trusted thought leadership to key target accounts, establishing Optro as the go-to authority on modern risk and audit solutions.
- Secure and actively participate in industry networking events and conferences to cultivate relationships and identify new business avenues.
- Analyze complex stakeholder landscapes to develop tailored engagement plans that address the unique risk profiles of each client.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and translate client requirements into enhanced product utility and communication strategies.
- Champion the adoption of Optro's platform by creating compelling narratives around ROI, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation for decision makers.
- Maintain current awareness of evolving risk and audit regulations, ensuring that client conversations remain relevant and forward-thinking.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, forecasting revenue and ensuring alignment with broader organizational targets.
- Document successful sales methodologies and playbooks to enable replication of best practices across the EMEA region.
- Partner with Customer Success to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing value realization for newly acquired clients.
Requirements
- Hold 4-9 years of cumulative work experience specifically within Big 4 consulting, Internal Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management fields.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or demonstrate equivalent professional experience that provides a comparable foundational knowledge base.
- Exhibit an expert level understanding of internal audit methodology and the nuances of internal controls compliance.
- Apply strong analytical, diagnostic, critical thinking, and project management skills to solve multifaceted business problems.
- Show excellence in problem-solving, presentation, and decision-making capabilities when engaging with senior organizational leaders.
- Maintain excellent written and oral communication skills to convey complex concepts with clarity and precision.
- Demonstrate proven experience in managing and effectively working alongside internal auditors in various enterprise settings.
- Demonstrate proven experience communicating and reporting critical insights and findings to senior leadership stakeholders.

Practical notes
This role requires successful passage of background checks prior to commencement. Background checks are required for this role. This position may involve access to sensitive data, including employee, customer, financial, and proprietary product information. The position is based in London with a hybrid work model, requiring one day of in-office presence every Wednesday. The engagement is full-time, and the compensation package ranges from £73.6K to £110.4K inclusive of commission. The candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
