What you'll do
- Process payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

- Support the finance team with budgeting and forecasting by providing accurate payroll data and insights.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, such as tax agencies and benefits providers, to facilitate smooth payroll operations.
- Provide backup support to other finance team members during peak periods or absences, ensuring continuity of service.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing or a related field, with a strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in payroll software, with experience in systems such as Sage, ADP, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting requirements in the UK is essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Certification in payroll management, such as CIPP or equivalent, is a plus.
