Account Executive, SMB
Job description
Account Executive, SMB at Openloop Health.
About the Role
OpenLoop empowers any brand, individual, or organization to launch compliant virtual care in weeks, not months. We deliver telehealth support solutions designed to streamline go-to-market care delivery for companies across all specialties in every state. As an Account Executive on our Brick & Mortar team, you own the full sales cycle for owner-operated healthcare practices, including chiropractic, medspa, dental, wellness, and gyms or fitness studios looking to add or expand a virtual care or weight management program. This is a high-volume, fast-close environment with a daily target of one closed deal per representative. The buyer is a small business owner who decides quickly or not at all. If you have built your own pipeline, sold to entrepreneurs, and closed at volume without needing hand-holding, you will thrive here.
What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close within a defined geographic or named territory.
- Build your own pipeline through outbound prospecting, including calls, emails, and direct outreach to practice owners and operators.
- Run efficient discovery and demo calls that get to the point and earn a decision in one to two conversations.
- Close deals cleanly at stated price without defaulting to discount to secure a signature.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity data in HubSpot so forecasting reflects reality.
- Develop and own an outbound strategy for your specific territory within your first 90 days.
- Share field intelligence with leadership, including objections heard, winning tactics, and losing indicators.
- Perform other duties as assigned throughout the fiscal year.
Requirements
- You possess 2+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding quota.
- You have directly approached small business owners and closed deals as their primary contact.
- You generate your own pipeline and do not wait for leads to come to you.
- You create urgency in one to two conversations while remaining professional and respectful.
- You hold price and do not fold on terms merely to obtain a signature.
- You are coachable and adopt process, feedback, and behavioral change.
- You thrive in a structured, high-activity environment while being competitive and team-oriented.
- You have hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM and keep your pipeline current.
Practical notes
This role is based in the United States and operates as a fully remote position, allowing you to engage with clients and partners across the country without the constraints of a single physical office. The engagement model is full_time, requiring a consistent commitment to the responsibilities and targets outlined for the position. There are no specific travel requirements noted, and no visa sponsorship details are provided in the source material, so you should confirm these details directly with the hiring team. There are also no explicit deadlines mentioned for applications or onboarding, so you should clarify timing expectations during your initial conversations. The compensation details are not specified in the source documentation, so you must review the official posting to confirm salary, bonuses, and any additional financial components tied to this role. These practical elements are critical for ensuring alignment between your expectations and the realities of the position, so be sure to address them before proceeding.
The day-to-day work involves managing a high volume of prospects and maintaining a disciplined approach to outreach and follow-up. You will be responsible for owning your territory from end to end, which includes identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships, and ensuring that every interaction moves the deal forward. Efficiency is key, as you will need to run discovery and demo calls that are concise yet impactful, securing decisions without unnecessary back and forth. Pricing integrity is a core expectation, and you must be comfortable holding the line on agreed terms even when faced with resistance. Your success will depend on your ability to generate activity, document it accurately in HubSpot, and use that data to refine your strategy over time. Collaboration with leadership will also be part of the role, as you provide feedback on what is working and what is not in the marketplace. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, numbers, and continuous improvement. If you meet the requirements and are ready to take on a results-driven challenge, this could be the right fit for you.
