What you'll do

Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to specific roles.
Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, to build a diverse talent pipeline.
Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including phone interviews and assessments, to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from initial outreach to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for both candidates and clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing them with guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to effectively advise clients on competitive compensation packages and hiring strategies.
Participate in job fairs and networking events to promote Onwardsearch and attract potential candidates.
Provide feedback to candidates post-interview to enhance their experience and maintain a positive employer brand.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that showcases Onwardsearch's culture and values, attracting top talent.
Analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall hiring process.
Assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring they have a seamless transition into their roles and the company culture.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within the IT or tech industry.
Proven track record of successfully filling technical roles, demonstrating a deep understanding of various tech stacks and job functions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients alike.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to streamline the hiring process.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to sourcing candidates, utilizing creative methods to attract top talent.
Strong analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues across different departments.
A passion for technology and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Nice to have

Experience recruiting for niche tech roles, such as data scientists, machine learning engineers, or cybersecurity specialists.
Knowledge of various programming languages and frameworks to better understand candidate qualifications.
Familiarity with employer branding strategies and how to effectively communicate a company's culture to potential hires.

Skills & tools

Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing platforms.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms for recruitment purposes, such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling job descriptions and outreach messages.
Familiarity with data analysis tools to track and report on recruitment metrics.
