What you'll do

• Conduct thorough keyword research to identify trending topics and relevant phrases that can enhance content visibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create compelling content that supports promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Edit and proofread content produced by other team members to ensure clarity, coherence, and adherence to SEO best practices.
• Monitor and analyze website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continuously improve content performance and search rankings.
• Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of articles and updates across all platforms.
• Engage with readers through comments and social media to foster community and gather feedback for future content improvements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance in all content produced.
• Assist in developing content strategies that align with Bamboohr's goals and target audience preferences.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a content writer or editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing SEO-focused writing.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions regarding content strategy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
