What you'll do
Translate specifications into implementations by building new gameplay systems and player-facing capabilities inside AtomEngine with Godot, GDScript, and C++. Sustain high performance and responsiveness across diverse scenarios and scales through profiling, analysis, and optimization. Structure logic by clarifying where client and server processing occurs, how state replicates, and how latency and scale affect player behavior.
Requirements
Ship and support live service games for 3+ years while operating in game engine or gameplay engineering roles. Demonstrate familiarity with engines such as Godot, Unity, or Unreal through shipped projects and operational experience. Optimize system performance with evidence of profiling, measurement, and improvement work. Maintain a player-centric mindset that accounts for scale and mass-user interactions. Meet federal contract requirements by holding U.S. Citizenship for this position.
