About the role
You will serve as a key point of contact for patients and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations at our Tacoma facility. This role focuses on maintaining high standards of service while supporting the administrative needs of our primary care environment. You own the orchestration of the patient journey from arrival to resolution within the clinic. You own the maintenance of clinical documentation integrity and patient privacy compliance at all times. You own the execution of front-desk operations to create a seamless and efficient experience for every visitor. You own the coordination of communication between patients and the clinical care team to prevent any delays in care. You own the proactive identification of workflow bottlenecks and the implementation of standard improvements. You own the representation of the One Medical brand through a consistently welcoming and professional demeanor.

What you'll do
- Oversee the management of front-desk operations and patient check-in processes to optimize throughput.
- Facilitate the coordination of communication between patients and the clinical care team to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Uphold the maintenance of office workflows to support high-quality primary care delivery and regulatory adherence.
- Execute administrative tasks with precision to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and meets daily objectives.
- Monitor patient flow and adjust resource allocation in real time to reduce wait times and enhance satisfaction.
- Provide advanced support for scheduling logistics, ensuring appointments are confirmed and resourced appropriately.
- Act as the central liaison for resolving patient inquiries and concerns before they escalate within the clinical environment.
- Perform data entry and documentation tasks with accuracy to maintain the integrity of electronic health records.
- Assist in the coordination of internal meetings and clinical huddles to keep the care team informed and prepared.
- Implement standardized procedures for handling patient requests to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Contribute to the development of operational best practices that improve the overall patient experience at the facility.
- Support the execution of quality assurance initiatives to identify areas for service enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and streamline support functions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by providing feedback on workflows and patient feedback.
Requirements

- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods while performing front-desk and administrative duties.

- Previous experience in a patient-facing role within a clinical or high-service environment.
