Software Architect, Liquidity Platform
Job description
About the role
You will architect and deliver the core low-latency infrastructure that powers cross-venue crypto liquidity strategies. You will own the design of high-frequency data ingestion, processing, and distribution pipelines that connect centralized and decentralized exchanges. You will define the technical roadmap for the Delta One Strategy Engineering team, ensuring our systems meet extreme performance and reliability standards. You will collaborate closely with quant researchers to translate complex trading logic into scalable, production-grade software. You will lead critical technical decisions around micro frontend architecture, risk management integration, and execution systems. You will mentor engineers and establish best practices that uphold the professional standards of the OKX brand. You will ensure our solutions remain at the cutting edge of market microstructure and arbitrage technology.
Key facts
What you'll do
Design and evolve the architecture of low-latency liquidity platform systems that serve automated market making strategies.
Implement resilient data pipelines for high-frequency capturing, transformation, and analysis of market data across CeFi and DeFi venues.
Develop and maintain the micro frontend stack that enables high-performance trading management interfaces for end users.
Partner with quantitative researchers to prototype, evaluate, and integrate cross-venue arbitrage and market making strategies.
Build and operate robust automated trading systems that enforce strict risk limits and operational safeguards.
Optimize system performance to minimize latency and maximize throughput in a multi-venue trading environment.
Collaborate with global infrastructure teams to ensure security, reliability, and compliance across all deployed services.
Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for complex production incidents affecting liquidity operations.
Define technical standards and documentation that govern the quality and maintainability of our core platform.
Guide the selection and adoption of technologies that support rapid iteration without compromising stability.
Champion engineering practices that enable scalable, observable, and maintainable software delivery.
Translate business and research requirements into technical specifications that drive implementation across the team.
Ensure all delivered components are aligned with the operational needs of professional market makers and trading desks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance developer productivity and system performance over time.
