Corporate Counsel
Job description
About the role
Office Ally Legal Counsel
Revenue Cycle and Operations
Office Ally operates at the intersection of healthcare and technology, delivering cloud-based solutions that power the administrative backbone of patient care. Since our founding, we have evolved from a claims-clearinghouse into a comprehensive revenue cycle management platform. Our tools support eligibility verification, claims management, revenue recovery, and payment processing for providers of every size. In April 2026, we expanded this ecosystem through the acquisition of Jopari Solutions, Inc, a specialist in straight-through electronic processing for Property and Casualty, Commercial, and Government healthcare. That integration has strengthened our ability to connect claims, payments, and data across the full healthcare transaction lifecycle.
This role exists within that expanding environment. You will serve as the primary legal steward for our revenue cycle and payment operations. Your responsibilities will span the full lifecycle of legal work, from initial intake through execution and governance. You will translate operational needs into precise legal requirements and ensure that every document and policy reflects our values and risk posture. You will work at the intersection of commerce, compliance, and strategy, enabling responsible growth without compromising our standards.
Location, Engagement, and Compensation
This position is based in the United States and is a full-time role. The base salary for this position is $180,000.00 per year. All other terms and benefits are subject to confirmation on the official application page.
Core Responsibilities
You will own the intake, analysis, and resolution of legal matters that support our revenue cycle and payment operations. This involves close collaboration with executives, product teams, and compliance colleagues to align legal strategy with business objectives. You will transform business requirements into clear contractual and policy language, ensuring enforceability and clarity.
You will design and maintain governance structures that connect contracts, internal policies, and operational procedures. This includes reviewing complex agreements that involve billing, payments, data, and regulatory obligations. Your analysis will balance commercial opportunity with regulatory exposure and long-term risk. You will deliver practical, actionable solutions that allow projects to advance while protecting the organization.
A key part of this role is cross-functional coordination. You will partner with internal stakeholders to clarify objectives, document decisions, and ensure alignment before commitments are formalized. You will establish and maintain playbooks that standardize recurring legal processes. These playbooks will improve consistency, reduce cycle time, and elevate the quality of work across the team. You will also guide product and operations teams through nuanced scenarios that require tailored legal interpretation and judgment.
Required Qualifications
You must currently hold active bar admission in good standing and a valid license to practice law. You must bring a minimum of three years of post-admission experience in roles with substantive legal responsibilities. Demonstrated familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance obligations is essential. You must have a proven track record of managing high-volume contract review and negotiation under tight deadlines. Your communication style must be equally effective with technical teams and executive leadership.
Preferred Experience and Tools
Experience with revenue cycle management platforms and payment ecosystems is valued. You will be expected to work comfortably with DocuSign, Microsoft 365, Jira, and Slack. Practical knowledge of our operational environment will accelerate your impact, though structured onboarding will support your integration.
