What you'll do
- Oversee the daily operations of human resources at the depot, ensuring effective management of personnel-related activities.
- Ensure that all site operations comply with company policies and regional labor laws, proactively addressing any compliance issues that arise.
- Act as the main point of contact for employees regarding workplace policies, procedures, and conduct, fostering an open and communicative environment.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to uphold operational standards and enhance the overall efficiency of depot functions.
- Develop and implement training programs aimed at educating staff on compliance and workplace policies, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
- Conduct regular audits of HR practices and site operations to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Manage employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate records related to personnel management, compliance documentation, and other HR-related activities for reporting purposes.
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company and adherence to compliance protocols.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, seeking innovative ways to enhance HR operations and compliance measures at the depot.
- Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and compliance status to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for future actions.
- Foster a culture of inclusivity and respect, promoting diversity within the workforce and ensuring equitable treatment for all employees.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in human resources management or site-level people operations, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and labor laws, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively in a workplace setting.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and maintain thorough documentation and reporting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in conflict resolution and employee relations, demonstrating the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in HR management software and tools, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and reporting.
