In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in driving customer success and growth within Notion's global Outcomes team. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies that enhance customer retention and expansion across our diverse clientele. This role requires you to create effective frameworks and operational systems that support scalable growth, ensuring that our initiatives align with the overall business objectives.

What you'll do
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of Notion's post-sales operations and the current growth priorities for existing customers, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Collaborate with leaders across various departments, including RevOps, Data Science, Finance, Sales, Outcomes, and Services, to analyze the factors that drive retention and expansion.
- Identify and prioritize critical growth initiatives and programs that can deliver immediate results, focusing on actionable outcomes.
- Develop initial strategic plans, establish metrics, create stakeholder maps, and set operational cadences for these initiatives to ensure effective execution.
- Work closely with regional teams to adapt global programs for local market execution, ensuring relevance and effectiveness in diverse contexts.
- Produce clear and concise documentation, field resources, and executive updates to facilitate alignment and drive action across teams.
- Establish a systematic process for reviewing progress, capturing insights, and refining strategies based on real-time feedback and data.
- Create a unified understanding of the factors that drive customer expansion and adoption, ensuring all teams are aligned on these objectives.
- Design and scale global programs that encourage customer adoption, realization of value, cross-selling, upselling, and sustained growth.
- Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to transform local successes into standardized playbooks and operating rhythms that can be replicated.
- Implement measurement, reporting, and review mechanisms that guide the team's focus and enhance understanding of program effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development of customer growth strategies that integrate Sales, Services, and Partners, ensuring a cohesive approach to customer engagement.
- Systematize best practices to embed growth into standard operations, moving beyond isolated campaigns to create a culture of continuous improvement.
- Structure and lead ambiguous, cross-functional projects, guiding them from initial concept through to operational delivery, ensuring clarity and focus throughout the process.
Requirements
- A background in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, or post-sales go-to-market operations is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and structured problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating complex challenges into clear, actionable insights.
- Proven experience in designing and managing cross-functional programs from initial strategy development through to successful execution.
- Ability to cultivate and manage relationships with senior leaders and operational teams, fostering alignment around shared goals and objectives.
- Exceptional written communication skills for crafting strategy documents, program plans, executive summaries, and field materials that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Comfortable working in a global environment where central strategies must be adaptable to regional needs and nuances.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, bringing structure to dynamic and often undefined work situations.
- Strong business acumen and a genuine curiosity about the factors that influence customer adoption, retention, and expansion.
