About the role
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for establishing and managing quality assurance and compliance initiatives within the sales operations framework. Your primary focus will be to ensure adherence to processes, maintain accurate data, comply with regulations, and foster continuous improvement. This role encompasses various activities, including audit planning, data analysis, testing of controls, training, and cross-departmental collaboration aimed at mitigating risks and enhancing operational efficiency.

What you'll do
- Design and implement a risk-based audit program that encompasses various aspects of Sales Operations, including CRM usage, approvals, contracts, quoting and billing (CPQ), licensing, and data integrity.
- Conduct regular audits, which may include sampling or full-scope evaluations as necessary, documenting findings and assessing their impact on the business.
- Track and report compliance metrics and the effectiveness of controls to Sales Operations leadership and relevant stakeholders; monitor the progress of remediation efforts.
- Perform root-cause analyses on recurring issues and collaborate with sales, legal, finance, and product teams to develop, pilot, and implement corrective actions and process enhancements.
- Ensure the accuracy of critical sales data such as Annual Contract Value (ACV) bookings and renewals, while adhering to established data governance standards.
- Maintain and enforce policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation related to sales processes, ensuring proper change logs and version control are kept.
- Create and deliver training programs for sales and Sales Operations teams on controls, best practices for CRM usage, compliance with contracts and quotes, and findings from audits.
- Utilize automation and analytics tools to enhance monitoring capabilities, including the development of dashboards, alerts, and automated checks.
- Assist with regulatory or external audit requests and ensure that audit trail evidence is meticulously maintained.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience in Customer Service Quote to Cash operations.
- A minimum of 4 years in roles related to sales operations, internal audit, compliance, finance operations, or similar fields.
- Proven track record in auditing sales processes, CRM systems (such as Salesforce or HubSpot), or CPQ platforms.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effect cross-functional change and collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, Legal, and IT departments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
