About the role
Nectar Social is seeking an IT Systems & Network Administration Specialist to manage our global IT infrastructure. This role involves overseeing internal systems, network architecture, employee devices, and access controls. You will provide direct IT support for our Lahore office while managing global IT functions like Google Workspace administration and mobile device management. You will own the reliability and security of our core systems and ensure seamless connectivity for both local and remote teams. This position requires proactive monitoring of infrastructure, rapid response to incidents, and consistent optimization of our technology environment. You will serve as a key technical lead responsible for aligning IT operations with business objectives across offices. The role demands meticulous attention to detail and a disciplined approach to managing credentials, configurations, and change management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support technology initiatives and maintain a robust, scalable infrastructure.

What you'll do
Provide advanced administration and daily oversight of Google Workspace, including user provisioning, security settings, and service optimization.
Configure and manage identity providers, SSO, SAML, SCIM, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls to maintain secure access.
Implement and administer a Mobile Device Management platform, handling device enrollment, policies, and compliance monitoring.
Design, manage, and troubleshoot network architecture based on TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, routers, switches, wireless networks, and firewalls.
Coordinate directly with internet service providers to configure and maintain office network connectivity and service levels.
Offer hands-on support for macOS devices while maintaining awareness of Windows and Linux environments for cross-platform issues.
Manage SaaS applications, including application permissions, administrator accounts, and software license tracking and optimization.
Monitor and maintain office hardware, including support for Zoom Rooms, Google Meet hardware, conference room systems, CCTV, and access control technology.
Develop and maintain accurate technical documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures to support continuity and knowledge transfer.
Troubleshoot complex IT issues for end users, escalating as necessary while clearly communicating status and resolutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Manage administrative credentials, sensitive information, and confidential company data following strict security and compliance standards.
Support the execution of IT projects, collaborating with internal teams to roll out new systems, integrations, and infrastructure improvements.
Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies, testing solutions that improve efficiency, security, and user experience.
Maintain awareness of emerging threats and best practices, applying updates and patches to sustain a secure and resilient environment.
Requirements
Possess 5 or more years of experience in IT systems administration, network administration, or IT infrastructure.
Have prior experience independently managing IT operations for a growing technology company or multi-office organization.
Demonstrate strong hands-on experience administering Google Workspace and related cloud services.
Show proven ability managing identity providers, SSO, SAML, SCIM, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls.
Have experience implementing or managing a Mobile Device Management platform and associated policies.
Exhibit a strong understanding of network architecture, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs, routers, switches, wireless networks, and firewalls.
Have experience configuring and supporting office networks and coordinating directly with internet service providers.
Show experience managing macOS devices; familiarity with Windows and Linux environments is an advantage.
Demonstrate experience managing SaaS applications, application permissions, administrator accounts, and software licenses.
Possess strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and project management skills.
Be able to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
Be capable of managing sensitive information, administrative credentials, and confidential company data responsibly.
Be willing to work on-site at Nectar's Lahore office and collaborate across multiple time zones.
Nice to have
Experience working in a fast-growing startup, SaaS company, or globally distributed organization.
Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Kandji, Jamf, Microsoft Intune, or similar tools.
Familiarity with identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Google Cloud Identity, Microsoft Entra ID, JumpCloud, or similar systems.
Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, vendor security reviews, or other security and compliance programs.
Experience with endpoint detection and response, antivirus administration, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.
Experience supporting Zoom Rooms, Google Meet hardware, conference room systems, CCTV, access control, and workplace technology.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Google Workspace Administrator, Microsoft, Jamf, or equivalent certifications.
Basic scripting or automation experience using tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, APIs, or workflow automation platforms.

This is a hybrid role requiring on-site work in the Lahore office. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate across multiple time zones.
