Requirements
- 5 or more years of professional development experience building high-quality iOS applications with strong Swift skills.
- Deep understanding of Swift and the iOS SDK, including Swift concurrency (async/await, Task, actors), structured concurrency, and modern GCD.
- Experience with SwiftUI for production UI development; familiarity with UIKit and its interoperability is a plus.
- Knowledge of Combine or other reactive patterns and when to apply them versus async/await.
- Strong grasp of iOS architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture, modularization) suitable for AI powered, stateful, and real-time features.
- Solid understanding of JSON, REST, WebSockets, streaming APIs, and robust networking layers (including error handling, retries, and offline support).
- Experience with offline storage, background processing, threading, and push notifications.
- Curiosity about new interaction models such as chat, agents, and multimodal UI.
- Experience using AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) in your workflow, with good judgment regarding code quality and security.
- Familiarity with LLM driven features (prompt design, integrating LLM APIs, handling latency, fallbacks, and guardrails) or conversational UX.
- Proven track record of building consumer facing applications, ideally having shipped to the App Store and iterated based on user feedback and metrics.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Nice to have
- Experience with large scale language models and production AI integrations.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and backend services used to support mobile applications.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
