What you'll do
- Work collaboratively with teams across Research and Development, Product Management, Medical Affairs, and Commercial sectors to propel initiatives and ensure cohesive alignment among all departments.
- Conduct thorough analyses of market trends, competitive dynamics, and advancements in artificial intelligence, genomics, and therapeutics to guide strategic decision-making.
- Establish and implement data-driven methodologies to monitor priorities, track progress, and deliver clear, outcome-oriented updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of strategic initiatives, including internal project management and the development of biomarker strategies.
- Facilitate external partnerships with pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions by preparing necessary documentation and tracking follow-up actions.
- Design and produce presentations and materials for conferences and stakeholder meetings, refining strategies based on feedback received.
- Tackle complex and ambiguous challenges by employing analytical thinking and structured problem-solving techniques to derive effective solutions.
- Engage in continuous learning about industry trends and innovations to keep Natera at the forefront of therapeutic advancements.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies throughout all strategic initiatives.
- Actively participate in cross-functional meetings to provide insights and updates on project status and strategic direction.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is mandatory for this position.
- Between 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, or business development, particularly within the pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare, or life science technology sectors.
- A solid scientific foundation, especially in areas such as oncology, immunology, or other related therapeutic fields.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Experience in project management, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Nice to have
- An advanced degree, such as an MBA, MS, PhD, or equivalent, which would enhance your qualifications for this role.
- Previous experience in supporting pharmaceutical partnerships, strategic initiatives, or cross-functional research and development projects.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence and machine learning applications in life sciences, particularly for biomarker discovery and clinical development processes.

Practical notes
- The salary range for this position is between $135,800 and $169,700 USD.
