About the role
The Staff Accountant position is responsible for owning month end close activities, managing Oracle pricing, and performing detailed account reconciliations. The role provides critical support to the Assistant Controller by safeguarding the integrity and validity of financial data. You will engage in financial reporting, M&A integration, cash and expense management, and international operations. This position is based in US Remote and operates on a full time basis.

What you'll do
You will verify the accuracy of transactions recorded in journals and invoices to ensure correctness for month end close. Designing comprehensive account reconciliations and preparing supporting journal entries will be a core duty, with continuous monitoring of GAAP compliance for management review. You will coordinate quarterly review procedures and annual audit activities, providing detailed responses to auditor inquiries. The role includes reviewing and approving refund requests submitted through Jira.
A significant responsibility involves updating weekly pricing data into Oracle systems and reconciling these figures against Power BI reports to ensure alignment. You will support cash management and expense tracking initiatives while contributing to international operations and M&A integration projects. Maintaining the general ledger with accuracy and delivering timely financial support to cross functional users is essential. Reviewing pricing workflows and approving related entries ensures the preparation of financial statements occurs on schedule. Additional projects will be assigned as necessary to sustain month end closing cycles and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in accounting is mandatory for this position. Candidates must bring 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience to the role. Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Excel is required, along with proven familiarity with Oracle systems. The ability to operate effectively within a fast paced, global environment while meeting strict deadlines is essential.

Compensation band information
The pay range for this role is listed as $69,200 to $86,450 USD. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Variations may occur in different locations due to cost of labor considerations.
