N26 is looking for a Senior Atlassian Consultant to enhance our team. This position is ideal for an expert in Atlassian tools who is eager to optimize collaboration across our growing FinTech organization. You will play a critical role in shaping how we work by translating business objectives into effective technical solutions.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate broad business goals into effective technical solutions using the Atlassian suite.
• Lead projects from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to design, implementation, and global deployment, taking full ownership of the delivery process.
• Identify and implement opportunities to modernize our systems, addressing friction points to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Create advanced customizations for Jira and Confluence using custom scripting (Scriptrunner/Groovy) and Atlassian APIs.
• Design and implement flexible Jira workflows that meet the needs of a regulated banking environment while supporting an agile tech culture.
• Utilize reporting and analytics to provide leadership with insights into operational health and project status.
• Mentor teams on best practices and maintain high-quality internal documentation as a subject matter expert.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Jira, JSM, and Confluence administration in enterprise settings, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Ability to work from high-level briefs and engage in discovery processes to establish clear paths forward.
• Experience in a regulated environment, which aids in balancing innovation with compliance and security standards.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in JQL, Automations, Atlassian APIs, Assets, and Scriptrunner (Groovy).
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with fluency in English required.
• Extensive knowledge in Jira administration, workflow customization, stakeholder management, and scalable implementation practices across teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Atlassian Analytics or the Forge framework.
• Understanding of ITIL/ITSM principles.
• Knowledge of the product and software development lifecycle.
• Skills in coaching and mentoring.
