About the role
The is a critical delivery enabler embedded within the Infrastructure and Security teams. You will own the execution health of the platform by facilitating all agile ceremonies and ensuring that engineering focus is protected from unnecessary disruption. This role requires you to maintain a living and transparent roadmap that accurately reflects the current state of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and security initiatives. You will act as the central communication hub, translating complex technical work into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders across the global organization. A key part of the position involves triaging all incoming requests and managing stakeholder intake to prevent ad-hoc interruptions from breaking engineering flow. You will proactively track delivery health, surfacing risks related to dependencies, cross-team conflicts, and slipping timelines to the Engineering Manager before they escalate. Success in this role means building deep trust with the infrastructure and security specialists so that the ceremonies you run are genuinely useful and drive the work forward rather than becoming bureaucratic checkboxes.

What you'll do
Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and review sessions for the Infrastructure and Security product streams.
Maintain and evolve the team roadmap, ensuring it remains an accurate, visible, and credible source of truth for the entire business.
Triage all stakeholder intake forms and manage the request queue, setting realistic timelines and expectations for external parties.
Translate complex cloud and platform work into non-technical language for executives and partners while knowing when an engineer must join the conversation.
Track delivery health metrics and flag blockers, slipping dependencies, and cross-team conflicts to the Engineering Manager proactively.
Support access management operations on a transitional basis, handling routine requests such as provisioning, password resets, and permission reviews.
Act as the primary liaison between the Infrastructure and Security teams and cross-functional stakeholders, coordinating status reporting and meeting preparation.
Ensure all documentation related to the team roadmap remains current, visible, and aligned with the shifting priorities of the business.
Defend the team's focused work time by managing stakeholders and minimizing context switches caused by ad-hoc demands.
Support the transition toward full automation of access management by handling operational requests until automated workflows are mature.
Provide clear and consistent communication to all stakeholder groups, maintaining alignment on priorities, risks, and delivery status.
Own the end-to-end management of the team's backlog, ensuring that work items are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for execution.
Surface potential risks early in the delivery cycle, allowing the engineering team to adjust course before issues impact timelines.
Act as the central point for coordinating changes and dependencies across the infrastructure, security, and platform functions.
Requirements
You must have two or more years of experience in a scrum master, delivery lead, or technical product owner role.
Experience supporting infrastructure, platform, or security teams is explicitly preferred for this position.
You must be a confident agile facilitator who can run ceremonies that people find useful without micromanaging the engineering staff.
Strong communication skills are mandatory; you must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
You must know when a discussion requires the presence of an engineer in the room instead of a written summary.
Conversational familiarity with cloud and platform concepts such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is necessary to follow work and ask insightful questions.
You must be proficient in using Jira for issue tracking and Confluence for documentation and roadmap communication.
You must be highly organized and proactive, capable of managing multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholder groups at the same time.
Excellent English communication skills are required for both written and verbal interaction across global teams.
Nice to have
Experience in a regulated environment such as healthcare or fintech is considered a plus.
Familiarity with access management tooling and identity concepts, including Azure AD, IAM, and SSO, is beneficial.
Holding a Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM is recommended.

Given that the majority of the team is based in the Netherlands, only candidates residing within commuting distance of the Amsterdam office will be considered.
