About the role
You will own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution of Motive's Workforce Management suite, defining what the product becomes in the market. You will partner deeply with safety, operations, and finance stakeholders to align product capabilities with the core platform vision. You will translate complex customer workflows into intuitive product experiences that drive adoption and retention across a diverse customer base. You will shape the future of workforce management by leveraging data and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and prioritize features. You will build and mentor a high-performing team of product managers who share a bias for action and customer obsession. You will communicate clearly with executives, customers, and partners to ensure alignment and transparency at every stage. You will champion experimentation and continuous improvement to validate hypotheses and refine the product over time. You will ensure that all product initiatives meet the highest standards for compliance, security, and performance.

What you'll do
Lead the discovery, definition, and delivery of Workforce Management features across scheduling, compliance, time tracking, and field service optimization.
Partner with customer success and sales teams to understand evolving customer needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
Develop and maintain a clear product vision and multi-year roadmap that balances strategic bets with incremental value delivery.
Analyze product usage, retention, and operational metrics to identify insights and drive data-informed product decisions.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and data teams to translate requirements into precise specifications and acceptance criteria.
Champion user experience excellence by advocating for intuitive workflows that scale across industries and customer sizes.
Define and own key performance indicators for product initiatives, aligning on measurable outcomes with cross-functional stakeholders.
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to uncover gaps and opportunities in the workforce management landscape.
Work with go-to-market teams to develop positioning, messaging, and enablement materials that highlight product value.
Support EPD teams in solution design, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with platform constraints and capabilities.
Establish processes for prioritizing features based on customer impact, effort, and strategic alignment.
Drive the successful launch of new products and features, coordinating stakeholders and managing timelines.
Build and grow a high-performing product organization, providing mentorship, feedback, and career development for product managers.
Engage directly with customers through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to validate product direction and uncover unmet needs.
Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to workforce management across target markets.
Represent Motive in industry discussions, customer forums, and internal thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements
Must have 10+ years of product management experience, with a strong track record managing enterprise SaaS products at scale.
Demonstrated expertise in building customer-centric product strategy and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority in a matrixed organization.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear narratives.
Comfortable making decisions in ambiguity and managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical mindset, with experience using data to inform product decisions and measure success.
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with global teams.
Must be authorized to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship for this position.
Demonstrated bias to action, with a fearless approach to getting hands dirty and iterating based on feedback.
Interest in meeting customers directly and learning from their operational challenges and workflows.
Experience working with EPD, sales, and customer success teams to align on go-to-market strategies.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position based in the United States with remote work eligibility.
Travel is expected at approximately 25% of the time for customer meetings, industry events, and internal collaboration.
