What you'll do

• Analyze and document current forwarding processes and systems to identify integration opportunities that enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and logistics teams to design, implement, and maintain integration solutions that connect various software applications and systems.
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of integrated systems, documenting results and making necessary adjustments.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for integration-related issues, working closely with stakeholders to resolve challenges in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and data integrity, implementing improvements as needed to optimize functionality and user experience.
• Create detailed reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators related to forwarding operations and integration success.
• Train and support end-users on new systems and processes, ensuring they are equipped to utilize the tools effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in system integration and logistics technology, recommending enhancements to current practices.
• Participate in project management activities, contributing to the planning and execution of integration projects within specified timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners to ensure successful integration of third-party systems and tools into our existing infrastructure.
• Document integration processes and maintain comprehensive records of system configurations and changes for future reference.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analysis to propose solutions that enhance overall service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in system integration, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes and the role of technology in optimizing these operations.
• Proficiency in integration tools and technologies, such as APIs, EDI, and middleware solutions.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, including SQL and Excel, to derive insights from system performance metrics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with specific logistics software platforms, such as CargoWise or similar systems.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for automation and scripting tasks.
• Previous experience working in a multinational company or with cross-border logistics operations.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices in system integration.
• Certifications in project management or system integration methodologies are advantageous.
