About the role
You will architect and own the end to end analytics roadmap for the Cards business, translating complex behavioural signals into a clear product narrative that guides strategic choices. You will design and run a robust experimentation framework that rigorously measures impact, enabling the organization to move with confidence and speed. You will build and lead a high performing analytics team, setting the standard for quality, collaboration, and data integrity across the group. You will act as the primary liaison between data science, product management, and engineering, ensuring alignment on goals, metrics, and successful execution. You will champion a culture of curiosity and evidence based decision making, empowering product partners to test, learn, and iterate using self serve tools. You will own the definition and implementation of key product metrics, ensuring they accurately reflect user behaviour and business health across the entire customer journey. You will leverage deep cohort and funnel analysis to uncover friction points and opportunity areas, feeding directly into the product backlog. You will own the governance of our analytics stack, ensuring that our data is reliable, scalable, and trusted by every team in the business.

What you'll do
Define and own the product analytics strategy for the Cards business, aligning measurement with commercial objectives and long term vision.
Champion the adoption of experimentation across the product team, from ideation through to execution, analysis, and scalable rollout.
Build and manage a high performing team of analysts, focusing on mentorship, career development, and clear operational processes.
Partner with senior product leaders to shape the product roadmap, using data insights and hypothesis driven thinking to prioritise initiatives.
Establish a scalable, self serve analytics environment that reduces dependency bottlenecks and accelerates decision making across the business.
Own the lifecycle of experiments, from hypothesis generation and metric definition through to analysis, learning synthesis, and communication.
Develop and maintain a robust set of product metrics and dashboards, ensuring they provide clear, actionable insight for stakeholders.
Lead deep dive analyses into user behaviour, identifying trends, segments, and opportunities to drive product improvements and commercial impact.
Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to ensure data capture is robust, experiments are executed cleanly, and results are reliable.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling narratives that drive alignment and action among both technical and non technical stakeholders.
Set and maintain high standards for data quality, documentation, and methodology so that the team operates with transparency and trust.
Act as an ambassador for data driven decision making, evangelising best practices and fostering a culture of learning across the Cards business.
Provide strategic guidance on analytics tools and infrastructure, ensuring they evolve to meet the needs of a growing, data conscious organisation.
Represent the Cards business in cross functional forums, ensuring analytics perspectives are integrated into broader product and company decisions.
Requirements
You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative field or equivalent practical experience, demonstrating strong analytical foundations.
You have 5+ years of experience in product analytics or analytics leadership, with a proven track record of driving impact.
You have 3+ years of hands on experience designing, implementing, and optimising experimentation programs.
You are fluent in SQL and capable of writing complex queries to manipulate large datasets and derive insight independently.
You have advanced expertise in a product analytics tool such as Amplitude, Pendo, or similar, with the ability to build reports and dashboards.
You have strong experience building and maintaining dashboards in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate data clearly.
You have a solid understanding of statistical concepts and experimental methodology, including hypothesis testing, significance, and bias.
You have experience working in an agile environment, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams in a fast paced setting.
Nice to have
Experience working in a fast growing ecommerce or retail environment, understanding unique challenges and opportunities.
Familiarity with our tech stack, including our mobile applications and web platform, would allow for quicker impact and deeper collaboration.
Practical notes
This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 3 days per week in our London office.
