Senior Software Engineer, Server Security
Job description
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Server Security team, which is part of MongoDB's core engineering division. This team is responsible for developing features that help users secure their data on a global scale. You will engage with critical components such as cryptography, identity and access management, network security, and system integrity. In this capacity, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of security features, from initial design discussions through implementation, testing, and deployment. You will work closely with product managers and security architects to translate high-level requirements into robust technical solutions. The role demands a proactive mindset to identify potential vulnerabilities before they can be exploited in production environments. You will be expected to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of secure coding practices across the organization.
