What you'll do

• Direct the international legal entity governance framework and maintain compliance calendars across all jurisdictions, ensuring no regulatory deadline is missed.
• Collaborate with Legal and Tax departments on entity formation, restructuring, liquidations, and rationalization, aligning corporate structure with business objectives.
• Manage the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements, ensuring alignment between U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local reporting standards to satisfy regulators.
• Oversee global statutory audits, focusing on audit readiness and maintaining relationships with external service providers to streamline the audit process.
• Direct intercompany accounting, cross-border funding, and the operationalization of transfer pricing policies to ensure adherence to international regulations.
• Design scalable reporting processes and implement ERP-based automation to improve compliance visibility and reduce manual intervention.
• Establish performance metrics for filing timeliness, settlement cycles, and risk remediation to drive continuous improvement across the function.
• Lead a global team and serve as the primary subject matter expert for entity governance and risk management, providing thought leadership and guidance.

Requirements

• 12 to 15+ years of accounting experience, specifically leading international controllership or statutory reporting for a multinational public company, demonstrating a deep understanding of global compliance demands.
• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP frameworks, with the ability to apply them correctly across diverse regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated success managing global statutory audits and multi-jurisdiction compliance programs, ensuring strict adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Expertise in intercompany accounting, global capital flows, and transfer pricing structures, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and compliant.
• Experience developing scalable governance frameworks and implementing automation in large-scale environments to enhance efficiency and control.
