What you'll do
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies for engineering applications to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define quality metrics and performance indicators for new and existing products.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing, to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of testing processes, results, and quality assurance protocols to ensure transparency and traceability.
- Work closely with software developers to facilitate the resolution of identified defects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on product specifications to enhance quality from the early stages of development.
- Analyze customer feedback and product performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements to enhance user experience.
- Train and mentor junior QA engineers and team members on best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance tools and techniques to continuously improve processes.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure that quality assurance activities are integrated into project timelines and deliverables.
- Assist in the development of automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage of testing efforts.
- Support the implementation of quality management systems and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Experience with automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# is a plus.
Nice to have
- Experience in the manufacturing sector or with engineering applications is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Certification in quality assurance or testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
- Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
Skills & tools

- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality management systems.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
