What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that enhance overall performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications for technology solutions.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and use cases, to ensure clarity and alignment among all parties involved.
• Utilize data analytics tools to extract insights from large datasets, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
• Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to facilitate discussions around business needs and potential solutions, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure that Mercuryo remains competitive and innovative in its approach to business analysis.
• Create and present reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations based on your analyses.
• Support project management efforts by providing analytical expertise during the planning and execution phases of various initiatives.
• Assist in the development of training materials and conduct training sessions for team members on new processes and tools.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or a similar role, preferably within the fintech or technology sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and the ability to build strong relationships across various levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with project management principles and practices, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks, particularly Scrum or Kanban.
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the fintech industry.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python for data analysis purposes.
• Previous experience in a startup environment or fast-growing company.
• Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
