What you'll do

• Develop and refine the brand identity of Personio Capital, ensuring it resonates with founders, investors, and partners alike.
• Craft a compelling narrative that effectively showcases our unique venture studio and early-stage fund model.
• Oversee all owned media channels, including the website, blog, newsletter, and LinkedIn, to guarantee a consistent and engaging content flow.
• Collaborate closely with the investment team and portfolio founders to produce engaging stories that highlight investments, significant milestones, and technical advancements.
• Foster a cohesive Personio ecosystem by organizing events and interactions designed to attract and retain leading AI talent.
• Manage all facets of event participation, ranging from intimate dinners to large-scale industry conferences.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and industry influencers to ensure that news about the fund and its portfolio receives the necessary exposure.
• Analyze community feedback and engagement metrics to continuously improve outreach strategies and community initiatives.
• Develop educational content and resources that support the growth of the AI community and enhance the visibility of Personio Capital's contributions.
• Engage in networking opportunities to expand the reach of Personio Capital within the AI sector and beyond.
• Actively participate in discussions and forums related to AI trends, contributing insights that position Personio as a thought leader in the industry.
• Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and community engagement efforts.

Requirements

• A proven track record of building an audience, community, or brand, with tangible achievements to demonstrate your impact.
• Strong experience in creating and nurturing a community or brand presence, showcasing specific successful initiatives.
• Exceptional written communication skills in both English and German, with the ability to produce sharp, insightful content under tight deadlines.
• A deep understanding of the AI landscape in Europe, including familiarity with key players, trends, and challenges.
• A pragmatic approach that prioritizes actionable solutions over lengthy strategic discussions.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively, such as writing, media briefings, and event management, all in a single day.
• A willingness to hold and express strong opinions while remaining open to new information and perspectives.
• A commitment to elevating the visibility and respect of founders, the fund, and the ecosystem, rather than seeking personal accolades.

Practical notes

This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with the investment team, portfolio founders, and the broader Personio ecosystem.
