Clinic-Based BCBA - Low Caseload

About the role

You will own the full clinical workflow for a caseload of six pediatric clients, ensuring that each intervention plan reflects the highest standards of Applied Behavior Analysis. You will design and supervise behavior intervention programs in close partnership with families, caregivers, and an interdisciplinary clinical team. You will lead data-driven decision-making, interpreting trends and adjusting protocols to support meaningful, measurable progress for each child. You will mentor junior clinicians and therapists, providing guidance, feedback, and clinical leadership within the clinic environment. You will facilitate communication between families and other disciplines, ensuring that treatment goals are aligned and consistently implemented across sessions. You will champion a culture of continuous learning, staying current with best practices and ethical standards in behavior analysis. You will contribute to quality improvement initiatives, helping to refine clinical processes and elevate the standard of care. You will uphold the mission of MedCare Pediatric by delivering compassionate, individualized services that empower children and support their long-term development.

What you'll do

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify target behaviors and functional skills, translating findings into practical, family-centered plans.

Develop, implement, and supervise individualized behavior intervention plans that align with ethical guidelines and clinical best practices.

Analyze session data, generate clear reports, and adjust programming based on client progress and family feedback.

Lead weekly supervision meetings, providing actionable feedback and professional coaching to RBTs and other direct support staff.

Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, and Nursing professionals to coordinate holistic care.

Guide the implementation of treatment plans during direct client sessions, ensuring consistency and fidelity to protocol.

Support families in applying behavioral strategies within daily routines, promoting generalization across home and community settings.

Track treatment integrity and documentation accuracy, maintaining organized, compliant records for each client.

Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences, contributing data-driven insights and clinical recommendations.

Foster a positive therapeutic environment by modeling respectful communication and collaborative problem-solving with clients and families.

Support the development of clinic-wide initiatives focused on skill-building, engagement, and client retention.

Engage in ongoing professional development, including training on new methodologies and updates in behavior analytic practice.

Champion the use of visual analytics and trend interpretation to inform clinical decision-making at the individual and program level.

Promote adherence to ethical standards, ensuring that all practice remains client-centered, transparent, and family-focused.

Assist in the onboarding and orientation of new team members, helping to build a strong, cohesive clinical unit.

Requirements

Must hold current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or be eligible for certification upon hire.

Must possess a Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field.

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet clinic location requirements in Houston, Texas.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment at this time.

Must meet state-specific regulatory requirements for behavior analysts, including any mandated reporting or licensure guidelines.

Must demonstrate a clear understanding of ethical codes and professional standards governing applied behavior analysis practice.

Must bring previous experience in clinical settings, with a track record of direct client service and supervision.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts into accessible language for families.

Must be comfortable using data systems, documentation platforms, and technology tools to support clinical operations.

Must pass a background check and maintain professional liability insurance as required by the organization.

Must commit to a full-time schedule during clinic operating hours, with consistency in assigned shifts and client sessions.

Must engage in collaborative practice, respecting the roles and expertise of interdisciplinary team members.

Must uphold client confidentiality and adhere to all organizational policies regarding privacy and data security.

Must demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity, creating an inclusive environment for diverse families and clients.

Nice to have

Prior experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

Familiarity with common assessment tools, curriculum-based measures, and data collection systems used in pediatric settings.

Experience with parent coaching and caregiver training in naturalistic and everyday learning environments.

Knowledge of clinic-based service delivery models and interdisciplinary collaboration strategies.

Background in staff training, mentorship, or leading clinical supervision activities.

Experience supporting transitions between early intervention and school-based services when applicable.
