• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries, providing guidance and support to employees and management on safety issues.
• Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics, preparing reports for management that highlight trends, areas for improvement, and compliance status.
• Engage with external regulatory agencies and safety organizations to stay informed about industry standards and best practices, integrating relevant updates into company policies.
• Foster a culture of safety by encouraging employee participation in safety committees and initiatives, recognizing and rewarding safe behaviors.
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents, ensuring all employees are familiar with procedures.
• Review and update safety policies and procedures regularly, ensuring they reflect current regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate safety considerations into operational planning and project management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably within the mechanical or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Proven experience in conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex safety concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions based on findings.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CIH) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
