Compensation: $180,000.00 per year; 6+ years of experience required. What you'll do Setting the agenda for discovery sessions with fund managers to clarify structures. Designing configuration blueprints that match fund flows while mapping requirements to platform capabilities. Routing complex edge cases to experts and joining collaborative problem solving across teams. Crafting walkthroughs and models that equip internal teams on platform behavior. Shaping product direction by surfacing patterns from client implementations and documenting gaps. Guiding client calls with structured problem solving and clear communication to non technical stakeholders. Translating fund accounting workflows into rules that configure Maybern workflows accurately. Partnering with engineers to validate data models and ensure implementation feasibility for complex structures. Requirements You must possess 6+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or implementation within private markets. You must demonstrate fund/Finance fluency to discuss data models and operational workflows credibly. You must handle Microsoft Excel comfortably while knowing fund accounting systems like Yardi or Investran. You must communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non technical audiences. You must thrive in a team based environment and build on colleagues contributions. You must be comfortable with complex investment structures and financial statements. You must be growth oriented and seek feedback to evolve your impact over time. You must hold an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance; CPA is a plus. What we are looking for We are looking for a Solutions Architect to bridge the gap between the business needs of potential clients in the private markets industry, and the technical capabilities of Maybern's software. This role sits at the intersection of fund/finance expertise and implementation work -- you will use your knowledge of private markets operations to translate client requirements into configured, working solutions. You will be part of a collaborative Solutions Architecture team, working closely with senior Solutions Architects and cross-functional partners as you grow into increasingly complex client scenarios. What you'll do - Support Client Implementations: Own onboarding and configuration work for a book of clients, with a focus on straightforward implementations and well-defined use cases. Partner with senior Solutions Architects on more complex or ambiguous cases. - Translate Business Requirements: Conduct discovery with clients to understand their fund structures, workflows, and operational needs. Map those requirements to how Maybern's platform can be configured to meet them. - Escalate and Collaborate: Bring harder edge cases to the team. Participate in collaborative problem-solving with teammates across Solutions Architecture, Product, and Engineering. - Contribute to Enablement: Help develop internal resources on technical topics, including walkthroughs, models, and presentations that support the broader team. - Partner with Product: Surface patterns from client work to inform product feedback and feature gap documentation. Who you are - Fund/Finance Fluent: You have a solid foundation in fund accounting or private equity operations and can engage credibly with clients on their workflows and data models. - Client-Facing and Clear: You communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences, and you're comfortable running client calls with guidance. - Structured Problem Solver: You approach ambiguous situations methodically -- mapping out processes, identifying gaps, and working through solutions systematically. - Collaborative by Default: You thrive in a team-based environment and are comfortable asking questions, sharing context, and building on others' work. - Growth-Oriented: You're eager to take on more complexity over time and actively seek feedback to improve.
