We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Site Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations at our Atlanta, GA site. This role involves managing site teams, ensuring safety standards are maintained, and delivering excellent service to passengers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operational experience, and a passion for innovative transportation solutions. As part of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the deployment and ongoing management of autonomous vehicle services, contributing to our mission of transforming urban mobility.

What you'll do
- Supervise and lead a team of Site Supervisors, Technicians, and contracted Autonomous Vehicle Operators to ensure the smooth functioning of shuttle services at the Atlanta site.
- Enforce safety protocols rigorously, fostering a safety-first culture among all site personnel and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and refine daily operational procedures, ensuring that all activities align with company policies and industry best practices.
- Monitor and analyze site performance metrics regularly, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to optimize efficiency and passenger experience.
- Manage the site budget, including resource allocation, inventory, and operational expenses, ensuring that financial targets are met and resources are used effectively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing passenger concerns, ensuring shuttle reliability, and maintaining high service standards.
- Collaborate closely with People Operations to support staffing needs, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and ongoing training of site staff.
- Act as a liaison between the site team and engineering or technical support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing service disruptions.
- Support the testing and deployment of new vehicle technologies, providing feedback and insights to improve vehicle performance and safety.
- Facilitate communication across teams, ensuring that all staff are informed of operational updates, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment that aligns with May Mobility's core values and culture.
- Be flexible to cover shifts outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure continuous site coverage.
- Travel up to 10% for site visits, meetings, or training sessions at other locations as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation of operations, incidents, and safety reports, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and operational best practices.
- Support community engagement efforts by representing May Mobility at local events and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring they understand safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights from the field and participating in process review sessions.
Requirements
- An associate's degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, preferably in transportation, logistics, or operations.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions quickly in dynamic and uncertain situations.
- Experience in developing operational processes, managing projects, and implementing performance metrics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License and willingness to undergo a driving record check.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and small teams effectively.
- Ability to analyze operational data and identify trends or issues requiring escalation.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical, customer service, and community engagement groups.
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and in varying weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to transportation or vehicle operations.

- Previous experience working with autonomous vehicle technology or in the transportation industry.
