What you'll do
- Develop and refine tire models using advanced simulation software to predict performance characteristics under various conditions.

- Conduct detailed analysis of tire behavior through finite element analysis (FEA) and other modeling techniques to optimize tire design.
- Utilize data from physical tire tests to validate and enhance modeling accuracy, ensuring that simulations reflect real-world performance.
- Participate in the creation of technical documentation and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance modeling processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in tire modeling and simulation to incorporate best practices into your work.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on modeling techniques and software tools to foster professional development within the team.
- Contribute to the development of new tire technologies by participating in brainstorming sessions and innovation workshops.
- Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that tire models meet regulatory and safety standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to tire performance and modeling discrepancies.
- Present findings and insights to management and other departments, facilitating informed decision-making regarding tire development projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in tire modeling, automotive engineering, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in simulation software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar tools for tire modeling and analysis.
- Strong understanding of tire mechanics, materials, and performance characteristics.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational modeling techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data sets.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to tire safety and performance.
