What you'll do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client expectations.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, proactively identifying and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions and adherence to project specifications.
• Conduct regular project reviews and status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any issues that may arise.
• Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation to clients and management, showcasing project progress and outcomes.
• Implement best practices in project management and engineering processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and project team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout all phases of project execution.
• Liaise with external vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts and managing relationships to ensure quality deliverables.
• Participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposals for potential projects.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology, integrating relevant innovations into project strategies.
• Support the development of project management tools and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering or management within the engineering sector.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to the industry, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and safety standards in engineering projects.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
• Experience in a specific engineering discipline, such as civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of sustainable engineering practices and green building standards.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within an engineering team.
• Familiarity with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
