Strategic Finance Associate, Clean Energy Infrastructure
Madison Energy Infrastructure seeks a Strategic Finance Associate to define the financial architecture of our clean energy infrastructure platform. In this role, you will serve as a key analytical partner, shaping how capital is deployed and deployed efficiently. Your work will directly influence our ability to execute ambitious growth plans across transactions, acquisitions, and project execution. The position requires a high degree of ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to analytical excellence.
This position is based in Tysons, VA.
Core Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing the financial narratives and data that drives our business forward. This involves translating complex financial information into actionable intelligence for our organization. Key duties include:
- Leading the preparation and assembly of investor materials, data room packages, and responses to diligence questionnaires for ongoing capital raise initiatives.
- Building, auditing, and stress-testing financial models that evaluate platform and operating portfolio M&A opportunities, guiding decisions from initial concept through final integration.
- Conducting detailed reviews of project-level financial models to refine underwriting standards and ensure rigorous capital allocation.
- Authoring clear, concise presentations and strategic analysis designed for executive leadership and external partners.
- Coordinating with legal, tax, and operational teams to manage due diligence processes and maintain comprehensive data room repositories.
- Identifying and implementing enhancements to finance workflows, improving accuracy and efficiency in a scaling environment.

Education and Experience

Technical Competencies
You must possess expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced financial modeling techniques. Familiarity with presentation software such as PowerPoint is essential. Experience with data and business intelligence platforms, such as Power BI, is a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of $100,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
