About the role
This position is centered around creating, managing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for Mactores' technology partnerships. You will be responsible for translating complex project details, architecture diagrams, and technical information into clear, accurate, and professional materials that support partner programs and client engagement activities. The role provides a pathway to develop customer-facing presales architecture responsibilities, allowing you to work closely with both internal teams and external partners. Your work will be instrumental in ensuring that technical documentation meets the standards required for audits, partner reviews, and client presentations, ultimately supporting Mactores' growth and partnership success.

What you'll do
- Develop, update, and maintain competency documentation for all of Mactores' technology partnerships, including AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Anthropic, and OpenAI, utilizing details provided by delivery teams.
- Generate technical validation reports, architecture visuals, and detailed case studies that align with partner program requirements and standards.
- Gain a thorough understanding of Mactores' case studies to effectively communicate project challenges, architectural solutions, and results to a variety of audiences, including partners, clients, and internal teams.
- Employ AI tools to streamline the drafting process, ensuring initial documents are accurate, comprehensive, and ready for review, while verifying all AI-generated content for correctness.
- Maintain consistent formatting, style, and quality standards across all documentation related to partners and projects.
- Identify and communicate any missing or unclear project details necessary for producing audit-ready documentation, collaborating with relevant teams to fill gaps.
- Manage multiple documentation tasks simultaneously, ensuring all are completed within fixed deadlines aligned with partner program cycles and project timelines.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, including solutions architects and delivery personnel, to gather detailed information and clarify architecture diagrams, project scope, and technical challenges.
- Review and verify documentation for technical accuracy, clarity, and completeness before final submission or sharing.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for documentation processes, templates, and standards to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Assist in preparing materials for partner meetings, presentations, and audits, ensuring all technical content is accurate and professionally formatted.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for technical documentation within the organization, sharing insights and lessons learned.
- Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay updated on new partnerships, platform updates, and documentation requirements.
- Act as a liaison between delivery teams and external partners to ensure documentation aligns with project goals and partner expectations.
- Maintain organized records of all documentation work, version control, and updates for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Support onboarding of new team members by providing documentation templates, guidelines, and training on documentation standards.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices in technical documentation, AI-assisted drafting, and cloud architecture to continually enhance your skills.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in technical documentation, solutions architecture, or a similar role involving AWS or modern data/AI platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Anthropic, or OpenAI.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud architecture principles and the ability to interpret and document designs across multiple cloud platforms.
- Strong technical writing skills, capable of transforming raw project information into clear, professional, and audit-ready documents.
- Experience in creating architecture visuals and diagrams using tools like draw.io or Lucidchart.
- Familiarity with AI drafting tools and a commitment to verifying all AI-generated content for accuracy and completeness.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously and meet deadlines independently.
- Good communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including delivery, solutions architects, and external partners.
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation quality and consistency.
- Basic understanding of cloud security, compliance, and audit requirements is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving documentation standards and tools.
- A proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset to identify gaps and improve documentation workflows.
