We are currently seeking an Architecture Design Coordinator to join our dynamic Civic + Cultural team. Completed projects demonstrate our scope, including the West Hollywood Park Aquatics and Recreation Center, the Michelle Obama Library, and the Environmental Nature Center. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across our studios in California and Texas. Your work will help bring high-performance, community-first design to life. Your responsibilities will be hands-on from concept to completion. You will support and collaborate with project teams to assist Project Architects, Project Designers, and Project Managers. You will prepare and manage documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents. Creating, developing, and implementing design and detailing solutions will be central to your role. You will assist Project Leaders with client coordination and internal project coordination. Supporting contract administration includes reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs. Researching materials, systems, and construction methods will help uphold design intent. Providing mentorship to junior designers while receiving guidance from firm leadership is expected. LPA offers extensive professional growth and contribution opportunities. Required qualifications include a Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture. You must bring 5+ years of experience across all design and documentation phases. Proficiency in Revit is mandatory. Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods is required. Demonstrated creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include actively pursuing licensure or current licensure. LEED accreditation indicates a commitment to sustainable design principles. Compensation: 85000 to 110000 annually. What you'll do. You will orchestrate intake sessions and translate requirements into clear design tasks. You will craft schematic ideas and detailed drawings that satisfy both code and aesthetics. You will champion review cycles where feedback becomes actionable revisions. You will coordinate construction documents to ensure smooth contractor execution. You will forge partnerships by aligning studio output with client community goals. You will guide materials research to support resilient, high-performance outcomes. You will elevate junior designers through hands-on coaching and iterative feedback. You will maintain meticulous issue logs to prevent small details becoming major problems. Requirements. You must hold a Bachelor or Master Architecture degree as baseline knowledge. You will bring five or more years managing end to end documentation and coordination. You must demonstrate fluent Revit skills for complex building systems modeling. You need a deep understanding of local building codes, materials, and construction practices. You must show creative problem solving when design constraints become challenging.
