What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success and team development.
- Oversee the design, development, and testing of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and project management, to deliver integrated solutions that meet client specifications.
- Develop project timelines and budgets, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards, including NEC and IEC.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficient in using engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
- Experience in budget management and project scheduling.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
Nice to have
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
- Experience in renewable energy systems or smart grid technologies.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in electrical engineering.
- Previous experience in a consulting environment.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
