About the role
LILT is transforming global communication through AI, and this role owns the end-to-end enterprise sales cycle from initial outreach to closed won deals. You will act as the primary revenue driver by hunting and closing new customers while educating stakeholders on the measurable business impact of LILT's platform and services. This position requires you to build trusted partnerships with champions across functions and translate complex technical capabilities into clear value propositions for C-level and line-of-business buyers. You will own your quota through disciplined, systematic outbound activity and high-gain engagement, directly contributing to the company's growth objectives. In collaboration with Customer Success and delivery teams, you will shape winning implementation strategies that reinforce long-term account health and expansion. You will leverage data and revenue operations best practices to maintain an accurate pipeline and forecast, ensuring predictable execution. Ultimately, you will define the commercial footprint of LILT by securing strategic, multi-year partnerships that reinforce the brand and fuel sustainable scale.

What you'll do
- Uncover, educate, and close prospective customers on time and on forecast that meet company metrics and objectives while maintaining strict adherence to defined sales stages.
- Become an expert in translating the value of our platform and services to all levels and across all functions, including C-level executives, into the language and metrics of the customer in order to sell the outcome impact to business buyers.
- Set-up and deliver winning Proofs of Concept in order to convert new, long-lasting customers by demonstrating clear operational and financial ROI within realistic implementation timelines.
- Provide a weekly accounting of your high-gain activities for continuous improvement as well as maintaining an accurate forecast of your total business pipeline and committed revenue.
- Sustain high activity levels across all channels employing tailored, multi-thread outreach that balances email, social, and direct engagement.
- Drive the entire sales cycle independently while coordinating closely with the ADR/BDR team to maximize meeting volume and opportunity quality.
- Source and act as the lead on RFP responses, aligning cross-departmental collaboration and execution to address detailed customer requirements.
- Utilize leading sales tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and Chorus.ai to manage opportunities, document interactions, and refine strategies.
- Partner with account management and cross-functional service and delivery teams to influence strategy and creatively solve client business problems throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Negotiate business terms with line-of-business, procurement, contract teams, senior management, and C-level executives to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Influence and drive cross-departmental strategy and collaboration during deal cycles, aligning Services, Product, Solutions, and Senior Leadership to solve complex client challenges.
- Lead in-person meetings and web-based demos with excellent verbal and written communication, adapting content for diverse executive audiences.
- Process and interpret customer feedback to iterate on positioning, proof points, and commercial offers, ensuring continuous improvement in win rates.
Requirements
- Required: Experience selling in the translation & localization industry (ideally both technology and services) to ensure domain relevance and credibility.
- 6+ years of proven ability in managing complex 9-15 month sales cycles to the high-end mid-market and enterprise markets with a track record of acquiring new complex and highly competitive accounts and successful revenue attainment.
- Consistently booking $250k - $2M deals and exceeding $1.2M+ in annual quotas to demonstrate capacity for high-value transaction execution.
- Equally effective in getting meetings with target customers independently as well as in conjunction with ADR/BDR teams to maintain a full pipeline.
- Experience in sourcing and acting as the lead on RFP response, cross-departmental collaboration, and execution to handle intricate procurement and evaluation processes.
- Proficient with leading sales tools such as Salesforce/Hubspot, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, and Chorus.ai http://Chorus.ai to ensure disciplined opportunity management.
- Experience in account management and collaborating with cross-functional service & delivery teams to influence strategy and creatively solve client's business problems over extended contract periods.
- Skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business, procurement and contract teams, senior management and/or C-level executives to close complex agreements.
- Proven ability to influence & drive cross-departmental strategy and collaboration (Services, Product, Solutions, Senior Leadership) during deal cycles in creatively solving our client's business problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excels leading in-person meetings and web-based demos under varying time constraints.
- Process customer data and metrics to inform decision-making and adjust approaches based on observed patterns and outcomes.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, matrixed environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on market demands and strategic initiatives.
