What you'll do
- Lead and manage multiple electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
- Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
- Identify and resolve project-related challenges promptly, utilizing problem-solving skills to maintain project momentum.
- Oversee project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded, leading to repeat business opportunities.
- Mentor and guide junior project team members, providing training and support to enhance their professional development.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project execution and client satisfaction.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the electrical or construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams and clients.
- Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites, often requiring extended stays away from home.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel by various means, including air travel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
Nice to have
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with renewable energy projects or sustainable building practices.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and management.
- Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and methodologies.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
