What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and risk management strategies.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.
• Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones and any potential issues.
• Identify and resolve project-related challenges promptly, utilizing problem-solving skills to maintain project momentum.
• Oversee project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded, leading to repeat business opportunities.
• Mentor and guide junior project team members, providing training and support to enhance their professional development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project execution and client satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the electrical or construction industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams and clients.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites, often requiring extended stays away from home.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel by various means, including air travel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with renewable energy projects or sustainable building practices.
• Familiarity with contract negotiation and management.
• Knowledge of Lean Construction principles and methodologies.
• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
