About the role
LendingTree is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the end-to-end strategy and execution for customer experience initiatives within our membership and marketplace platforms. The successful candidate will define the future state of our user journey, ensuring that our digital marketplace remains competitive and user-centric. You will act as the central orchestrator for customer-facing features, aligning complex cross-functional efforts around a unified vision. This role requires a balance of analytical rigor and creative insight to solve complex problems in the financial services space. You will be responsible for transforming high-level business objectives into tangible product outcomes that enhance user trust and engagement. The position involves constant evaluation of market opportunities and customer behavior to drive sustainable growth. Ultimately, you will shape the product portfolio that defines how users discover, compare, and manage their financial lives.

What you'll do
Formulate and communicate a product strategy that supports company objectives for the membership and marketplace offerings.
Monitor market shifts, user needs, and competitor activity to uncover opportunities for innovation in the financial comparison space.
Maintain a dynamic product roadmap that balances immediate delivery with long-term strategic development initiatives.
Prioritize features and enhancements based on technical feasibility, projected business impact, and direct user feedback.
Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and support teams to shepherd products from concept through launch and ongoing refinement.
Utilize qualitative user research and quantitative usability testing to inform design decisions and feature requirements.
Establish clear KPIs and success metrics to evaluate product performance and drive data-backed improvements over time.
Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle, managing timelines and dependencies from initial discovery to post-launch optimization.
Manage product risks related to security, compliance, and evolving financial regulations to ensure responsible product management.
Mentor and coach junior product managers to elevate the overall capability and effectiveness of the product organization.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor degree in computer science, business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Bring a minimum of 5-7 years of professional product management experience in a relevant domain.
- Possess a background specifically within the lending or financial services industry.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of online financial products such as personal loans, mortgages, and credit cards.
- Show a proven ability to translate ambiguous business goals and user problems into concrete, actionable requirements.
- Have substantial experience working within technical environments alongside cross-functional teams of engineers and designers.
- Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and influence skills to drive decisions without direct authority.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and judgment when handling sensitive customer data and financial information.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly based on market and regulatory demands.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding financial compliance and data privacy standards.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position requiring hybrid in-office attendance on Tuesday through Thursday, with remote work expected on Monday and Friday. The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $170,000, subject to location, experience, and internal factors. Eligible candidates may receive an annual performance bonus as part of their total compensation package. The role includes benefits such as 401(k) matching, medical insurance, dental coverage, and vision care. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, so candidates must already possess the right to work in the United States. The work location must be one of the following: Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; or Seattle, WA.
