About the role
You will partner with entrepreneurs across the country to help them achieve their financial goals through consultative conversations and tailored lending solutions. You will establish trusted relationships with small business owners via phone and email while navigating a high volume, fast-paced lending environment. Your role involves resolving borrower financing objectives by suggesting and negotiating funding terms and handling the entire loan process from initial contact to closing. You will lead the sales funnel accurately through a best-in-class CRM and source new business at or above quota consistently. This position requires proven sales professionals who can quickly interact and build rapport with decision-makers in a dynamic marketplace. You will work as part of a collaborative team to share methodologies and drive collective success for LendingTree.

What you'll do
Establish relationships with small business owners to understand borrowing needs via phone and e-mail.
Resolve borrower financing objectives and goals through a consultative approach tailored to individual situations.
Suggest and negotiate terms of funding to align with business needs and lender capabilities.
Handle the entire loan process from initial customer contact to closing of loan with precision and care.
Lead sales funnel accurately through best in-class CRM tools to maintain organized and actionable records.
Source and close new business at or above quota through persistent and strategic outreach efforts.
Utilize strong phone presence and extraordinary communication skills to build trust and credibility.
Leverage previous B2B sales, Fintech, SaaS, or financial sales experience to accelerate deal momentum.
Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly, be coachable, and close deals in a competitive environment.
Collaborate with teammates to share standard methodologies and help the company achieve its goals collectively.
Employ solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks effectively.
Use knowledge and previous use of Salesforce strongly preferred to track interactions and forecast accurately.
Maintain self-motivation, goal orientation, and high focus to meet and exceed performance targets.

Requirements
Extraordinary communication skills are essential for conveying value and building rapport with clients.
Strong phone presence helps create a professional and trustworthy impression during virtual interactions.
2+ years of quota carrying sales experience is required to ensure familiarity with performance expectations.
A 4-year Degree is preferred but not required, especially if it is in Finance or Business.
Previous B2B sales, Fintech, SaaS, or financial sales experience is desired for faster onboarding.
Proven ability to learn quickly, be coachable, and close deals is necessary for success in this role.
Work as part of a team to share standard methodologies and help the company achieve its goals.
Knowledge and previous use of Salesforce is strongly preferred for efficient pipeline management.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly focused individuals are sought to drive consistent results.
Solid time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks are required.

Practical notes
This is a full-time position.
Employees may be required to work occasional evenings or weekends to accommodate client needs.

Relocation to Charlotte, NC may be required for the selected candidate.
The position reports to the Regional Sales Leadership team.
Performance reviews occur on a regular cycle with growth opportunities.
Travel is not required for this role under normal circumstances.
