Strategy Analytics Manager
Job description
About the role
You will own the end to end analytics and operational strategy for Lendable's front and back office functions, acting as the primary analytical extension of the COO and CRO. You will combine strategic oversight with hands on technical delivery, using SQL and Python to solve high impact problems in operations and customer outcomes. You will lead a small analytics team while personally owning key analysis, reporting and decision support that directly influence how the business operates and scales. You will define, govern and evolve the metrics that matter, ensuring that operations are efficient, fair and aligned with customer needs. You will translate complex operational data into clear narratives, recommendations and actions for senior leadership and stakeholders. You will be responsible for moving reporting from retrospective summaries to forward looking insight that drives proactive decision making and continuous improvement.

What you'll do
Define and own end to end operations management information across lending, customer service and back office operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency and trust in all reporting.
Govern KPIs covering demand, SLAs, throughput, productivity, quality and customer outcomes, and develop strategic north star metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness and scalability of operations.
Diagnose bottlenecks, failure demand and customer friction in workflows, and partner with Transformation and Product teams to prioritise the highest value operational opportunities.
Quantify the potential operational and customer value of improvement initiatives, define baselines and hypotheses, and measure realised impact to determine whether changes should be scaled, adjusted or stopped.
Translate analysis into clear decisions, actions and ownership, working closely with Operations Directors, Heads of Department and the Operations Transformation Office to drive implementation.
Own the analytical cycle for demand, SLA and resourcing decisions, including forecasting, capacity planning, throughput measurement and identifying emerging operational risks or pressure points.

Partner with Data Science and Operations teams to assess the impact of automation, AI and LLM led initiatives, measuring time saved, quality improvements, risk reduction and customer outcomes.
Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding consumer credit and ensure that analytics, reporting and proposed changes comply with relevant rules and standards.
