About the role
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution of large-scale paid social campaigns for Later's Influence clients, translating business objectives into data-backed media plans. You will partner closely with program and account leaders to ensure paid media recommendations directly support broader growth goals and service excellence. This role requires you to forecast spend and performance, guide creative and audience strategies, and provide strategic oversight across the full campaign lifecycle. You will build and maintain paid media playbooks, templates, and repeatable workflows that improve execution quality and efficiency over time. You will also experiment with new channels and tactics, including emerging platforms and AI-driven capabilities, to uncover scalable performance opportunities. As a hands-on expert, you will translate complex performance data into actionable insights that elevate the Services teams and exceed client expectations. Your work will directly influence how Later's enterprise clients, such as Nike, Wayfair, Unilever, and Southwest Airlines, execute influencer-driven paid media initiatives.

What you'll do
Develop paid social strategies that translate client goals into clear, data-backed media plans across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, and emerging platforms.
Partner with Account Managers and Services leadership to ensure paid social recommendations align with broader program strategy and business objectives.
Forecast spend and performance to support planning, resourcing, and future investment proposals.
Provide strategic guidance on creative direction, audience approaches, messaging, and experimentation.
Lead the full campaign lifecycle in collaboration with paid media managers and specialists: planning, setup, QA, trafficking, testing, optimization, and measurement.
Manage large budgets with precision, ensuring delivery is efficient, effective, and aligned with client KPIs.
Conduct rigorous ongoing monitoring and analysis, translating results into actionable insights.
Build and maintain paid social playbooks, templates, and repeatable workflows that improve execution quality and efficiency.
Partner closely with Account Managers and Account Coordinators to guide creative asset needs, messaging, CTAs, and campaign optimization plans.
Work cross-functionally with Analytics partners to deepen measurement, improve reporting quality, and surface meaningful insights.
Collaborate with Account Managers to contribute to client storytelling, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations.
Stay ahead of evolving advertising trends, platform updates, AI/automation capabilities, and performance best practices.
Identify new opportunities, tools, or tests that improve results and operational efficiency.
Champion a culture of continuous learning and experimentation across paid media and the broader Services team.
Ensure campaigns consistently deliver against client KPIs such as CPA, ROAS, CPM efficiency, engagement, or conversion benchmarks.
Integrate paid media strategy with broader Services initiatives to create cohesive, performance-driven influencer campaigns.
Drive experimentation velocity, producing clear insights and measurable improvements over time.

Requirements
You possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, bringing a strong foundational knowledge of digital advertising and media planning. You have at least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in paid media, with a proven track record managing large budgets and complex, multi-channel campaigns. You demonstrate advanced proficiency in advertising platforms such as Meta and Google, combined with hands-on experience in paid social tools and measurement frameworks. Your analytical capabilities are strong, supported by advanced skills in data analysis, performance reporting, and the ability to synthesize insights that drive strategic decisions. You communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and can present complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have a history of collaborating cross-functionally with creative, analytics, and account teams to deliver integrated solutions. You are fluent in interpreting campaign metrics, setting up experiments, and applying statistical thinking to evaluate results. You exhibit ownership, curiosity, and a consistent commitment to improving processes and outcomes over time.
Nice to have
Experience managing influencer or creator-driven paid campaigns is strongly preferred, given the unique role of creators in the Later ecosystem. Familiarity with Later's platform and the influencer marketing landscape will enable you to integrate more quickly and contribute at a higher level. Experience working with enterprise clients in sectors such as retail, consumer goods, travel, or technology is beneficial, as is knowledge of global markets and multi-regional campaign execution.
Practical notes
This is a full-time position eligible for benefits. The work location is primarily remote, with the option to work from one of our US office locations including Boston, MA; Chicago, Illinois; Los Angeles, California; New York, New York; Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; or Vancouver, Washington, United States. Travel may be required for client meetings, workshops, or team events, typically up to 10% of the time. Employment is contingent on authorization to work in the country where the position is based, and roles may require specific background checks consistent with company policy.
