Growth Associate
Job description
About the role
You will architect and execute the brand narrative that makes Kernel the default business identity layer for agents. You will translate complex technical infrastructure into compelling stories that resonate with builders, operators, and revenue teams who rely on clean data. You will own the strategic creation of high-impact experiences that turn abstract trust into booked meetings and closed opportunities. You will act as the primary storyteller for the leadership team, ensuring every public interaction reinforces our position in the market. You will partner closely with sales to design outreach that feels native to how agents sell and buy today. You will iterate on campaigns and events based on rigorous analysis rather than intuition, constantly refining the funnel. You will be entrusted to scope, launch, and own initiatives end-to-end with minimal oversight, shaping the growth engine of the company.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Architect a premium events calendar that includes dinners, lunches, conferences, and experimental formats designed to generate pipeline for Kernel.
- Curate and elevate the public profiles of the Kernel leadership team, with a primary focus on LinkedIn positioning and executive thought presence.
- Design and implement multi-channel marketing systems that deliver measurable results across demand generation and brand awareness.
- Produce both non-technical and technical content at scale, reaching an audience of tens of thousands of builders and operators in the AI ecosystem.
- Collaborate directly with the CEO and Head of Sales to develop creative strategies that accelerate enterprise deal momentum and win critical opportunities.
- Drive product launches, customer announcements, and case studies that amplify new functionality and validate real-world impact.
- Propose, scope, and execute original growth experiments, owning the hypothesis, implementation, and analysis of outcomes.
- Map and optimize the end-to-end journey of prospects and customers as they move from awareness to adoption within the Kernel ecosystem.
- Challenge existing assumptions about go-to-market by introducing data-backed insights and unconventional tactics that compound over time.
- Represent Kernel in high-stakes environments, ensuring that every interaction reflects the precision and reliability of the underlying business registry.
Requirements
- You have 2-5 years of work experience in a growth, marketing, or sales operations capacity in a fast-moving environment.
- You demonstrate exceptional written communication skills without reliance on AI-generated text.
- You possess strong analytical capabilities and a preference for making decisions based on numerical evidence.
- You exhibit ruthless prioritisation, focusing on the few activities that drive the majority of meaningful outcomes.
- You have a keen sense of taste and judgment, especially when it comes to brand positioning and creative execution.
- You are comfortable operating in a context where process is lightweight and outcomes are more important than rigid predictability.
- You thrive in an office-first culture, working in-person four to five days a week alongside a high-performing, cross-functional team.
- You are energized by ambiguity and capable of defining what needs to be done rather than only executing predefined tasks.
⚠️ This role may not be for you if you:
- Prefer slow-paced, highly structured environments where direction is handed to you explicitly.
- Need heavy process guardrails instead of discovering the path as you build it.
❌ This role is definitely not for you if you:
- Like working on one project at a time in a siloed manner.
- Want to protect a traditional 9-to-6 schedule or maintain a mostly remote working arrangement.
