What you'll do

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project schedules, ensuring that all milestones are met.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials, with an emphasis on safety and quality assurance.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar applications.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.

Nice to have

• A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with sustainable building practices and green construction methods.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations specific to the Springfield area.
• Certification in safety management or OSHA training is a plus.
