What you'll do
- Provide first-line support for network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents reported by staff.
- Monitor network performance and reliability, proactively identifying potential issues before they impact operations.

- Assist in the preparation of reports on network performance metrics and incident resolution times for management review.
- Provide support for remote users, ensuring they have the necessary tools and access to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a network support role or a similar position within an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls from various manufacturers.
- Familiarity with network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus but not mandatory.
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud networking solutions and services, such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of network tasks.
- Familiarity with VoIP technologies and their integration into network environments.
- Previous experience in a multinational company or working with diverse teams across different time zones.
- Understanding of ITIL framework and its application in network management.
