What you'll do

• Design and implement server-side logic and functionality for our gaming applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, creating a user experience.
• Develop and maintain APIs that facilitate communication between the game client and server, ensuring efficient data transfer and processing.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, addressing performance bottlenecks and improving overall system efficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure reliability and stability in a production environment.
• Monitor and manage server performance, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain optimal operation.
• Work with database management systems to design, implement, and maintain data storage solutions that support game functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high code quality within the development team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into our development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including game designers and project managers, to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Document development processes, code changes, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Back End Developer, with a strong understanding of server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience in designing efficient data models.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation, with a focus on performance and security best practices.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and familiarity with collaborative development workflows.
• Understanding of cloud services and deployment strategies, with experience in platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A passion for gaming and an understanding of the gaming industry, with a desire to contribute to innovative gaming solutions.
