About the role
The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Private Equity will act as the strategic voice for private equity stakeholders within Junipersquare. This role owns the end-to-end development of narratives that translate complex platform capabilities into clear value for PE decision makers. You will own the messaging framework that aligns product positioning with the specific priorities of CFOs, COOs, and Investor Relations leaders. In this capacity, you will define the content architecture that supports every stage of the PE sales journey. You will own the creation of battle-tested playbooks that equip sellers to navigate objections and articulate competitive differentiation. This position serves as the central owner of win/loss intelligence, converting raw feedback into actionable insights for product and growth teams. You will leverage emerging technologies, including AI agents and LLMs, to scale research and accelerate the delivery of high-impact materials. Ultimately, this role owns the narrative that drives demand and secures mid-market private equity customers for Junipersquare.

What you'll do
- Define the core value proposition and overarching messaging strategy for private equity stakeholders, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and sales objectives.
- Develop detailed playbooks that map buyer priorities, common objections, and required content for every phase of the sales cycle within the private equity context.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to create high-impact deal collateral, including ROI narratives, competitive battlecards, and executive-level presentation frameworks.
- Lead competitive intelligence initiatives for the private equity segment, synthesizing findings to refine market positioning and inform product discussions.
- Conduct win/loss analysis and structured customer interviews to maintain a deep, evidence-based understanding of the PE buyer journey.
- Utilize AI agents and large language models to research target accounts and expedite the drafting of sales enablement materials and campaign assets.
- Partner with demand generation and product teams to enforce messaging consistency across all campaigns, webinars, and platform updates affecting the PE segment.
- Own the development of personas and narrative frameworks that speak directly to the unique pressures faced by fund administrators serving private equity clients.
- Measure the impact of messaging and enablement assets on pipeline creation, conversion rates, and stakeholder perception within the target market.
- Act as the primary liaison between product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure that market feedback drives iterative improvements in positioning.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of direct experience within the private equity ecosystem, whether at a PE firm, a fund administrator, or a vendor serving the industry.
- Demonstrated history of using AI automation tools and LLMs to enhance productivity while preserving high-quality human judgment and oversight.
- Exceptional ability to distill complex market data, platform features, and regulatory considerations into clear, persuasive communication for internal and external audiences.
- Experience translating technical product capabilities into business outcomes that resonate with finance and operations leaders in mid-market private equity.
- A proven track record of working closely with sales teams to shape narratives that directly influence deal progression and stakeholder confidence.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where self-direction, clarity in communication, and ownership of deliverables are essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present sophisticated concepts to executive-level stakeholders in a concise manner.
- Willingness to adhere to Junipersquare processes for content governance, compliance review, and quality assurance in all public-facing materials.

- This is a full-time remote role based in the Americas, with eligibility for candidates located in the USA or Canada.
- Compensation band is outlined as $115,000 - $215,000 USD or $85,000 - $137,000 CAD, supplemented by equity and a comprehensive benefits package.
