What you'll do

• Conduct thorough safety inspections and audits on construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of safety programs and initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry.
• Certification in safety management, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Proven ability to conduct safety audits and risk assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in safety management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
